Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Claudia and I have been sewing since I was very young. I first started to take sewing lessons in my early teens, when I began to become very particular about the way my clothes fit! My mother said that instead of continually paying tailors to alter my clothing for me, she would rather pay an instructor to teach me how to do it myself. So one summer, I started seamstress classes, taking lessons from three different teachers over the years and combining all of their methods to come up with my own process. The rest is history.
Since then, I have designed and sewn clothing for myself, for friends and family, and professionally. Now I own my own alterations business and also two online boutiques where I sell my own original clothing and pajama designs.
We will be updating this blog with in-depth reviews of sewing machines, tools, notions, thread...anything that my seamstresses and I use on a regular basis. As professionals, our tools have to withstand a lot of wear and tear, so we will share the pros and cons of each item and give honest, unbiased reviews so you'll know what we think are the best products for any sewing needs.
